At Cogent Rehab, your appointment time is reserved for you. You are treated one-on-one by an experienced physiotherapist — not double-booked, not passed to an assistant, and not placed on passive machines as the main treatment. Our fees reflect appointment duration, clinical complexity, and the level of assessment or rehabilitation required.

Physiotherapy Assessments & Specialty Services Fees

Most new adult patients should choose Adult Initial Physiotherapy Assessment. ​
Choose a specialized assessment if your main concern is concussion, dizziness, vertigo, neurological rehabilitation, complex mobility issues, pediatric care, or running/gait analysis.
Physiotherapy Follow-Up Treatment Fees
Need to book a session after your iniial visit?
Most returning patients should choose the Standard Follow-Up Physiotherapy Treatment unless your physiotherapist has recommended a shorter or longer appointment.
Home Based Physiotherapy Fees
Home physiotherapy fees include travel within Burlington. ​Appointments outside Burlington may be available depending on distance and schedule availability.
Additional travel fees may apply and will be confirmed before your appointment if you leave in Oakville, Milton, Hamilton or Waterdown.
Virtual Physiotherapy Fees
Virtual physiotherapy is available for patients who would like physiotherapy assessment, follow-up care, exercise guidance, education, and self-management support through a secure video appointment.

Virtual care may be appropriate for pain, injury recovery, exercise progression, activity modification, movement screening, home exercise review, return-to-activity planning, and follow-up support when hands-on treatment is not required.
Senior Wellness Center Memberships Fees
The Senior Wellness Membership is designed for older adults who want structured, supervised exercise support to improve strength, balance, mobility, confidence, and overall function.​​

Membership options are available for different levels of support, from once-weekly wellness exercise to more frequent supervised sessions. An introductory health-related fitness assessment is recommended before starting to help identify goals, safety considerations, and the most appropriate membership option.
Insurance and Direct Billing
Physiotherapy services are commonly covered by extended health benefits, depending on your plan.
A doctor’s referral is not required to book physiotherapy in Ontario, although some insurance plans may require a referral for reimbursement.

Payment is due at the time of service. A receipt will be provided for insurance reimbursement. Direct billing may be available depending on your insurance provider and plan.
Motor Vehicle Accident and WSIB Appointments
Motor vehicle accident and workplace injury physiotherapy may be covered through auto insurance or WSIB depending on claim status, insurer approval, and eligibility.
